Do you know the secret of how Tsuen Wan transformed from an industrial hub to a trendy hotspot?

In the 60s and 70s, the machines at Nam Fung Textile Factory ran day and night, with textile workers weaving the industrial legend of Hong Kong, supporting an entire generation!

By the 70s to 90s, Tsuen Wan had reinvented itself as a skating paradise!

With the transformation of the textile industry, the shopping malls' ice skating rinks became the coolest hangout for young people. Tsuen Wan even had two major ice skating rinks, serving as the trendsetting spots for the youth of that era!

This time, we invite you to:

✅ Explore Nam Fung Textile Factory and learn about the past of the textile industry.

✅ Experience ice skating and ice hockey firsthand!

⏰Time: 17:30-9:00 pm

📍Venue: The mills and D-Park, Tsuen Wan

💰Fee: Free

🙋🏻‍♂ Target: 18 to 70 years old (born from June 1954 to May 2006, regardless of gender)

✅Quota: 20 people (if the number of applicants is more than 20, a lottery will be conducted)

**Participant Notice

• Due to activity quota, a lottery will be conducted after the deadline. If you do not receive a 'Successful Registration' email by 10 May, 2025, it means that you have not been selected for this activity.

• A WhatsApp group will be created for the event, mainly for communication between HKFYG and all participants in the class, including sharing of event information (such as inclement weather arrangement, meeting points) and keeping track of participants' attendance.

• Participants who are successfully enrolled will receive a WhatsApp notification from HKFYG and the invitation link. Please be mindful of protecting personal privacy, adhere to group rules, and maintaining a harmonious atmosphere for all.
